I hate writing titles as they never seem to fit.
Now times for some updates.

Cooking
I am still continuing to try new and interesting recipes and making notes on what I am cooking, the changes I make and what it would go well with in preparation for e-courses. E-courses though have been a little slow this year though last year's content still seems to be of interest. I will continue with this as who know s where the future might lead.

Animals
Smaug & Sloth (bearded dragons)
They seem to be growing well though Smaug still has his problems. Lately he has been seen to be shaking and with bad eye to mouth co-ordination so I swapped him to a different enclosure with a different light. Since going into this enclosure, he has brightened up in colour, as has sloth, become a happier dragon with a better appetite. Sloth, is still going great though and I have no problems with her except that she doesn't like to eat in front of people.

Central Netted Dragons
Well they are a little fat but that will work well with the coming cool months when they should hibernate or at least become less active. Sleepy is growing well and looks like his dad (small boss). He still has sight difficulties but it doesn't stop him from doing anything either. The only thing that makes me think, is if it is a male or female!

Skinks

Our baby is growing up. She has turned 3 and seems to have had a good day.

She received a few presents which got good use by her and her sisters over the course of the day, and we ended the day with a birthday dinner of heart shaped and butterfly shaped chicken nuggets and birthday cake, made and decorated by Miranda.

Our last baby is starting to grow up.

While watching Happy Feet today, she exclaimed happily "Chicken, chicken!"

- never let the toddler climb over the alarmed fence at the museum. At least she wasn't the only one to do it.
- always shut the lid on the container of 50 small crickets, just in case they get tipped over by the 5yr old. Now we know what the house looks like with insects crawling all over it!
- start chores earlier in the morning so we have more of the day free.
- don't expect the husband to stay awake during a movie especially if he was up all night the previous night watching star wars episode 1 through to 6.

I am sure there is more but it is hard to think when the kids are reading over your shoulder!

The Not So Good
* Erin decided her room was too plain so she painted the walls.
* I had to scrub it off the walls as my first attempt at cleaning them just didn't work well enough
* I have a cold, first one in ages
* Mercedes decided to break (drop or throw I do not know) a glass half full with berry juice. I just discovered some berry juice on the ceiling!!! How do I clean that off since the ceilings are just too high, even standing on a chair I can't reach them
* It is hot and it is winter. You would think it is the start of summer!
* The cupboard in the little girls room fell over and made a dent in the wardrobe trim (glad it wasn't the wall)
* My pc's power box blew up the other night

The Good
* The kids are now quiet and contained and watching an 'educational' video
* I sold Mercedes cot on ebay for more then I was hoping to get
* I have my pc back and running
* We got an unexpected cheque in the mail yesterday

I am sure there is more but I have to go scrub the ceiling (berry juice stains), work on my e-courses, do lots of laundry (berry juice soaked towels), get the next load of dishes going, mop the floors, make/prepare dinner, sneeze a few times while the kids are quiet and contained for a few minutes!
