Introducing - Pebbles & Bam Bam

I would like to formally welcome Pebbles and BamBam into our family. They are a pair of eastern blue tongue skinks. (Pebbles on the left and Bam Bam on the right)

For Sale

I have come to the conclusion that my dragons are not living in harmony with each other. Well, the males aren't. Being males, this is not a sexist comment, they fight and they have come to maturity. 2 males, 2 girls. It isn't working. So we have had to block off one corner for Big Boy to reside in while he awaits his sale. If he does get sold.

I don't want to end up with expensive vet trips because these boys have fought so much they hurt each other. I knew it was coming, I just didn't know when.

Well, he is for sale. $100(aus) if you are interested, but there is a catch, well a few actually. You need a proper licence, live near me (I am not shipping him) and have the proper set up.

Now it is down to wait and see what happens!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to our youngest, no longer a baby, toddler Mercedes. She was 2 yesterday, amid the hustle and bustle of a busy Thursday (seems to be the busiest day of the week). Our little girl had a pretty normal day until dinner time when she was inundated with presents and birthday cake. She did not go to sleep before 10pm! From now on, the presents come in the morning!

Happy Birthday Merc!

Mostly About Erin

Why mostly about Erin? Because there are a few things that still stick in my head about yesterday, that she did.

We were out birthday shopping for Mercedes upcoming 2nd birthday when I had the two little ones in the trolley. Erin wanted closer to the shelves so she pulled on the shelves to pull the trolley closer. The shelves didn't fall down but the trolley tipped on it's side with both of the kids in it. I thought that there had to be a broken bone at least, but there wasn't so much as a bruise on either of them, fortunately. Merc though had a huge fright and was crying and I couldn't calm her for a bit. And yes, Erin did get in trouble and an explanation of why mummy had asked her not to pull on the shelves. I hope she learnt her lesson.

Then this morning she was playing with Jade and Jade announced that Erin was her slave! Tomorrow my baby/toddler turns two! Though we are having the present giving on Friday when hubby can be here

Merc (almost 2) just walked up to me and took my hand and led me to the toilet. She needed to go. I think she is starting to toilet train herself. Though, I am not ready to take her out of nappies just yet. My baby is growing up!
