I finished my latest crochet project, well my 2nd crochet project. It is a bit dodgy but it is finished and I am happy with the end result. The kids all like it, now all we have to do is wait until next winter to wear it.
There is a new junk/spam email to be cautious of out there. The main reason I clicked to it being spam was the fact that it asked me to “Please remember me to your parents”.
Anyhow, here is the email, which comes with an .zip attachment.
“Greating and salutations
New clauses have been added to the legislation regulating your online activities; some of the operations are now considered illegal. The new law has come into force as of 25.09.2008; the penalties have been toughened.
Please read the new document and be more accurate further on.
Please remember me to your parents”
Apart from the lack of personal approach, bad grammar and spelling, a completely wrong email addy (cc’ed) in the address box, and the fact that I can’t remember the last time, if ever, I performed an illegal operation online, I could almost believe it was legit. I know some will out there.
So, consider yourself warned.
* am not going to put up the email addy it came from because it will probably have changed by the time it reaches you.
Today has been a good day.
Firstly I will start off by telling you about last Friday.
Last Friday we tested the gas chamber. You can see the ingredients there to the left and the chambers to the right.
The gas chambers were for the baby mice. 7 baby mice now rest peacefully in my freezer. It was a quick and sudden death and was all over in seconds. However, they did need a quick bath after the experience due to the light shower of vinegar.
Do you know what happens when you put bi-carb into vinegar? Apart from lots of carbon dioxide you get lots of bubbles, almost like an explosion, and if the container is not big enough to house it, then you get vinegar escaping through the tube. I just hope the mice are still palatable for the snakes.
E6, now E7, had her birthday today. We had a rather quiet affair with one friend of hers over. Two of the friends elder sisters stayed as well.
The girls (all 7 of them) have had fun so far. They are beading, dancing, playing statues and just generally having fun.
It was nice to have a small affair and not do the whole big party thing. E7 has had fun and a good day so far, so it is all good!
here is a picture he took oh an eagle today while he gave me girl time out with my friends and took the kids to the park – he is so wonderful – did I say that already?
do you think he wrote this or me?
